Article 18. Technoparks The Law on Industrial Policy
1. A technopark is a legal entity established by an autonomous educational organization or individuals registered as individual entrepreneurs and/or other legal entities, or designated by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which owns, by right of ownership or on other legal grounds, a territory with a single logistical and/or property complex, where favorable conditions are created for the implementation of industrial- innovation activities.
2. The main activity of technoparks is business incubation, which is the provision of services to subjects of innovative activity at the initial stage of their operation for the provision of premises, equipment, accounting, legal, information and consulting support, investment attraction, project management, as well as other services necessary for the implementation of innovative projects.
This Law establishes the fundamental principles of industrial policy and regulates public relations that arise during the formation and implementation of industrial policy.
