Article 18. Termination of employment relations of diplomatic service personnel of the Law on the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Article 18. Termination of employment relations of diplomatic service personnel of the Law on the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. The grounds for termination of diplomatic service are:

     1) submission by a diplomatic service employee or an employee of the diplomatic service of an application for dismissal at his own request, except in cases of consideration of his responsibility for a corruption offense or for disciplinary misconduct discrediting the civil service;

     2) expiration of the term of the employment contract or termination of the employment contract on the grounds provided for by the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of public service;

     3) the submission of deliberately false information about his income and property by an employee of the diplomatic service or an employee of the diplomatic service;

     4) loss of citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

     4-1) the presence of citizenship of a foreign state;

     5) non-compliance with obligations and restrictions established by this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

     6) negative certification results;

     7) other grounds provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     2. The dismissal of diplomatic service personnel is carried out by the appropriate official authorized to appoint to the position.

     Upon leaving the diplomatic service, the staff of the diplomatic service is voluntarily enrolled in the personnel reserve of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 7, 2002, No. 299.

       This Law defines the legal basis, as well as the procedure for organizing the activities of the diplomatic service of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
