Article 19. Making a decision on accreditation or refusal of accreditation of the Law on Accreditation in the field of Conformity Assessment

      1. The decision on accreditation or refusal of accreditation is made by the accreditation body within thirty working days, calculated from the date of receipt of the collected materials by the commission for the review of accreditation materials.

If the commission for the review of accreditation materials identifies inconsistencies with the accreditation criteria, the applicant is provided with the time required to eliminate the inconsistencies, but not more than two months. In this case, the period provided for in the first part of this paragraph is suspended.

      2. If a positive decision is made, a post-accreditation agreement is concluded and a document defining the scope of accreditation is approved within seven working days, an accreditation certificate and one set of documents are issued.

     3. In case of a negative decision, a reasoned refusal is sent to the applicant in electronic form via the technical regulation information system or on paper within five working days from the date of the decision by mail or fax, which is considered received, respectively, from the date of the applicant's mark in the notification of receipt of the postal item or on the day of sending the facsimile message.

The set of documents is sent to the applicant in electronic form through the information system of technical regulation or by mail, or is given to his representative on purpose against signature.
