1. If there is a condition for notifying the subject of the transfer of his personal data to a third party, the owner and (or) the operator shall notify the subject or his legal representative thereof within ten working days, unless otherwise provided by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. The requirements of paragraph 1 of this article do not apply to the following cases::

1) the performance by state bodies of their functions provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the performance of activities by private notaries, private bailiffs and lawyers;

2) the collection and processing of personal data for statistical, sociological or scientific purposes.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of personal data, as well as defines the purpose, principles and legal basis of activities related to the collection, processing and protection of personal data.
