Article 19. Participation of trade unions in social partnership at the national, sectoral, regional and organizational levels and monitoring of the implementation of decisions taken The Law on Trade Unions

1. Trade unions participate in social partnership by:

1) work in the tripartite republican, sectoral, regional commissions on social partnership and regulation of social and labor relations;

2) development of draft agreements and collective agreements and their conclusion;

3) consultations (negotiations) with employers, their associations (associations, unions), government agencies on the regulation of labor relations and other directly related relations, ensuring guarantees of workers' rights in the field of labor and improving the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. Decisions taken by trade unions and provisions of collective agreements must comply with decisions taken by social partnership bodies and the provisions of general, sectoral and regional agreements.

3. Higher-level trade unions shall monitor the implementation of decisions taken by trade unions.:

1) decisions made by local trade unions – the branch trade unions of which they are a member organization;

2) decisions taken by territorial unions of trade unions, branch trade unions, – republican unions of trade unions, of which they are a member organization.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 27, 2014 No. 211-V SAM.

This Law regulates public relations resulting from the exercise by citizens of the constitutional right to freedom of association, the creation, operation, reorganization and liquidation of trade unions.
