1. The sale of food products is allowed only at domestic trade facilities that meet the requirements established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on food safety.

2. If a violation has been committed during the sale of food products, which has led to the acquisition of dangerous properties, it is not subject to sale and is sent for an appropriate examination, according to the results of which it is disposed of or destroyed.

3. Food products exported from the Republic of Kazakhstan must comply with the requirements established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, except in cases where the legislation and standards of the country of import do not require otherwise.

4. It is prohibited to sell food products that do not have documents certifying their compliance with the requirements established by law.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 21, 2007 No. 301.

This Law establishes the legal basis for ensuring food safety to protect human life and health, the legitimate interests of consumers and environmental protection in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
