Article 19. The Commission on Access to Information The Law on Access to Information
In order to take into account and protect public interests in the field of access to information, as well as to meet the needs of information users, an advisory body, the Commission on Access to Information, is being established under the authorized body in the field of access to information.
Public interests in the field of access to information are understood as the creation of favorable conditions, forms, mechanisms and ways of exercising the constitutional right of everyone to freely receive and disseminate information in any way not prohibited by law.
The Commission's activities on access to information are based on transparency and openness in discussing and resolving issues within its competence.
Meetings of the Commission on Access to Information are held at least once a quarter, in the last decade of the last month of the quarter.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 16, 2015 No. 401-V SAM.
This Law regulates public relations resulting from the exercise of everyone's constitutional right to freely receive and disseminate information in any manner not prohibited by law.
