Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, foreigners and stateless persons residing in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan have the right to radiation safety. This right is ensured by carrying out a set of measures to prevent radiation exposure to ionizing radiation above the established standards, as well as compliance by individuals and operating organizations with radiation safety requirements.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 23, 1998 No. 219.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of radiation safety of the population, in order to protect their health from the harmful effects of ionizing radiation.
