1. Prior to the entry into force of the relevant technical regulations and standards harmonized with them, state regulation is carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the extent that it does not contradict this Law.

2. For machines and equipment manufactured and put into operation before the entry into force of this Law, the documents confirming their compliance remain valid for the period of validity specified therein.

3. For machines and equipment put into operation before the entry into force of this Law and subject to mandatory conformity assessment, upon their re-entry into free circulation in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan after the entry into force of this Law, mandatory conformity assessment must be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of technical regulation.

This Law regulates public relations in determining, establishing, applying and fulfilling requirements for machines and equipment, their life cycle processes, and establishes the legal basis for ensuring safety to ensure the protection of human life, health and the environment.
