Article 2-1. The purpose and objectives of ensuring national security of the Law on National Security of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The purpose of ensuring national security is to protect the national interests of the Republic of Kazakhstan from real and potential threats.
2. The objectives of ensuring national security are:
1) ensuring the inviolability of the constitutional order of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including the independence, unitarity and presidential form of government, the integrity, inviolability of the State Border of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the inviolability of the country's territory, as well as the state's defense capability;
2) maintaining political stability in the country and the stability of the state's economy;
3) timely detection (identification), elimination or localization of threats to national security, as well as their analysis, forecasting and prevention;
4) development and implementation of a system of political, legal, economic, technical, social, as well as strategic, tactical, operational and other measures to ensure national security;
5) formation, ensuring the effective functioning and improvement of the national security system.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 6, 2012 No. 527-IV.
This Law regulates legal relations in the field of national security of the Republic of Kazakhstan and defines the content and principles of ensuring the security of man and citizen, society and the state, the system, goals and directions of ensuring national security of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
