1. The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of plant quarantine is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and consists of this Law and other regulatory legal acts.

2. If an international treaty ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan establishes rules other than those provided for by this Law, the rules of the international treaty shall apply.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 11, 1999 No. 344.

This Law defines the legal basis, goals, objectives and principles of plant quarantine measures, which are an integral part of the national security system, on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
