1. The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of production and turnover of organic products is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and consists of this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. International treaties ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan have priority over this Law. The procedure and conditions of operation in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan of international treaties to which the Republic of Kazakhstan is a party are determined by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law defines the legal, economic, social and organizational foundations of the production and turnover of organic products, aimed at the conservation and rational use of natural resources, assistance in the formation of a healthy diet and the development of the market of organic products.
