The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of radiation safety is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, consists of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Use of Atomic Energy", this Law, as well as other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 23, 1998 No. 219.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of radiation safety of the population, in order to protect their health from the harmful effects of ionizing radiation.
