Article 2. Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of radioactive waste management Law on Radioactive Waste Management

     1. The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of radioactive waste management is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, consists of the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Use of Atomic Energy", this Law and other regulatory legal acts, international contractual obligations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     2. The procedure for the operation of international treaties on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan is determined by laws.
