1. The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of state statistics is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and consists of this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. If an international treaty ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan establishes rules other than those provided for in this Law, the rules of the international treaty shall apply.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 19, 2010 No. 257-IV.

This Law regulates public relations arising in the process of state statistical activity, as well as in determining the quality of administrative data, and is aimed at meeting the needs of society, the State and the international community for official statistical information.
