1. The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on collection activities is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, consists of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. The laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Business Partnerships" and "On Limited and Additional Liability Partnerships" apply to collection agencies in the part not regulated by this Law.

3. If an international treaty ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan establishes rules other than those contained in this Law, the rules of the international treaty shall apply.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 6, 2017 No. 62-VI.

This Law regulates public relations related to the implementation of collection activities, establishes the specifics of the creation and operation of collection agencies, and also defines the specifics of state regulation of collection agencies and control over their activities.
