Article 2. Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on consumer rights protection The Law on Consumer Protection
1. The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on consumer rights protection is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and consists of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. The rights of consumers in the fields of financial, social, medical, tourism and other services, as well as issues of their protection, are established by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
3. If an international treaty ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan establishes rules other than those provided for by this Law, the rules of the international treaty shall apply.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 4, 2010 No. 274-IV.
This Law defines the legal, economic and social foundations of consumer protection, as well as measures to provide consumers with safe and high-quality goods (works, services).
