The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on registration of pledge of movable property is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the norms of international treaties ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan, and consists of this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law establishes the rules for registering the pledge of movable property in order to realize and protect the rights of individuals and legal entities who have legitimate rights to this property.
