1. The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on state audit and financial control is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, consists of this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on state audit and financial control applies to state audit facilities located on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as operating outside it.

3. State audit and financial control in special state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan is carried out in the procedures determined by the first heads of these bodies in coordination with the Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the authorized body for internal state audit.

4. If an international treaty ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan establishes rules other than those contained in this Law, the rules of the international treaty shall apply.

This Law regulates public relations related to state audit and financial control, defines the powers and organization of the activities of state audit and financial control bodies.
