1. The legislation on the Assembly is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, consists of this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. If an international treaty ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan establishes rules other than those contained in this Law, the rules of the international treaty shall apply.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 20, 2008 No. 70-IV.

This Law defines the status, procedure for the formation and organization of the work of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan aimed at implementing state policy to ensure public harmony and national unity, increasing the effectiveness of interaction between government agencies, organizations and institutions of civil society in the field of interethnic relations.
