Article 2. Principles and legal basis of the activity of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Constitutional Law on the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan, in carrying out his activities, is guided by the principles of legality, fairness, impartiality, objectivity, publicity, openness, transparency and other principles enshrined in the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan carries out his activities in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, this Constitutional Law, other normative legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as international treaties and other obligations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Constitutional Law defines the legal status and organization of the activities of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
