Article 2. Scope of this Law The Law on Currency Regulation and Currency Control

     This Law is valid on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and applies to residents and non-residents who carry out currency transactions on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     This Law applies to residents outside the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     Authorized organizations and other legal entities operating within the framework of the special regulatory regime introduced in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On State Regulation, Control and Supervision of the Financial Market and Financial Organizations", the norms of this Law and regulatory legal acts of the currency regulatory authority adopted in accordance with this Law shall apply within the limits provided for by the conditions of a special regulatory regime.

     This Law regulates public relations related to the implementation of currency transactions, defines the goals and objectives of currency regulation and currency control.
