Article 20-1. Requirements to the rules of a self-regulating organization The Law on Self-Regulation
1. The rules of a self-regulatory organization should provide for:
1) general provisions (name of the self-regulatory organization, terms and definitions);
2) general requirements for members (participants) of a self-regulatory organization, professional rules of conduct for members (participants);
3) the procedure for organizing the activities of a self-regulatory organization and its members (participants);
4) the procedure for organizing and conducting inspections of members (participants) of a self-regulatory organization;
5) responsibility of the members (participants) of the self-regulatory organization and the procedure for involvement in it;
6) the procedure for imposing penalties on members (participants) of a self-regulatory organization, their removal and appeal;
7) measures to prevent or resolve conflicts of interest;
8) the procedure for informing the regulatory state body about complaints received by the self-regulatory organization against its members (participants);
9) the procedure for using measures to ensure property liability;
10) the procedure for pre-trial dispute settlement;
11) final provisions (the procedure for the implementation, revision and cancellation of the rules).
2. The rules of a self-regulatory organization must comply with the requirements of the rules of business ethics, eliminate or reduce conflicts of interest in self-regulation.
3. The rules of a self-regulating organization should establish requirements that prevent unfair competition, the commission of actions that cause moral harm or damage to consumers of goods (works, services) and other persons, actions that damage the business reputation of a member (participant) of a self-regulating organization or the business reputation of a self-regulating organization.
4. The rules of a self-regulating organization may provide for other provisions that are determined by the self-regulating organization independently.

This Law regulates public relations related to the self-regulation of business and professional entities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, defines the conditions for the establishment and functioning of self-regulatory organizations, membership (participation) in them and their legal status.
