Article 20. Founders (participants) of a non-profit organization of the Law On Non-Profit Organizations
1. The founders of a non-profit organization, depending on its organizational and legal form, may be individuals and (or) legal entities, unless otherwise established by this Law and other legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. A non-profit organization may be established by one person, except in cases of the establishment of a consumer cooperative, associations (unions) and other cases provided for by legislative acts on certain types of non-profit organizations.
3. A person included in the list of organizations and persons related to the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and (or) in the list of organizations and persons related to the financing of terrorism and extremism, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, may not be the founder (participant) of a non-profit organization.
