Violation of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on refugees entails liability established by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Refugees and asylum seekers who have committed criminal or administrative offenses on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan are liable on the same basis as citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, except in cases established by ratified international treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 4, 2009 No. 216-IV.

This Law defines the legal status of asylum seekers and refugees in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
