Article 20. Responsibility of the national contingent of the Law on Peacekeeping Activities of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     The national contingent bears criminal, administrative, civil and disciplinary responsibility for crimes, misdemeanors and other offenses in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international treaties ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     If a person or group of persons from among the national contingent commits offenses during a peacekeeping operation that exclude his (their) continued presence in the zone (area) of the peacekeeping operation, replacement costs are reimbursed from the funds of these persons, which include the costs of travel of the person or group of persons from the Republic of Kazakhstan to the place of the peacekeeping operation. operations and back.

     This Law regulates public relations related to the participation of the national contingent of the Republic of Kazakhstan in peace and security operations (missions) in accordance with international obligations assumed by the Republic of Kazakhstan.
