1. The state basic pension payment is provided:

from January 1, 2023 – if you have ten or less years of experience in the pension system or lack thereof in the amount of 60 percent of the minimum subsistence level, with an increase in its amount for each full year of experience in the pension system over ten years by 2 percent, but not more than 100 percent of the minimum subsistence level set at The corresponding fiscal year is determined by the law on the Republican budget;

from January 1, 2024 – if you have ten or less years of experience in the pension system or lack thereof in the amount of 65 percent of the minimum subsistence level, with an increase in its amount for each full year of experience in the pension system over ten years by 2 percent, but not more than 105 percent of the minimum subsistence level set at The corresponding fiscal year is determined by the law on the Republican budget;

from January 1, 2025, if you have ten or less years of experience in the pension system or lack thereof, in the amount of 70 percent of the minimum subsistence level, with an increase in its amount for each full year of experience in the pension system over ten years by 2 percent, but not more than 110 percent of the minimum subsistence level set at the corresponding fiscal year by the law on the Republican budget;

from January 1, 2026 – if you have ten or less years of experience in the pension system or lack thereof in the amount of 70 percent of the minimum subsistence level, with an increase in its amount for each full year of experience in the pension system over ten years by 2 percent, but not more than 118 percent of the minimum subsistence level set at the corresponding fiscal year by the law on the Republican budget;

from January 1, 2027 – if you have ten or less years of experience in the pension system or lack thereof in the amount of 70 percent of the minimum subsistence level, with an increase in its amount for each full year of experience in the pension system over ten years by 2 percent, but not more than 120 percent of the minimum subsistence level set at The corresponding fiscal year is determined by the law on the republican budget.

The amount of the assigned state basic pension payment is recalculated annually in accordance with part two of this paragraph.

2. The length of service of participation in the pension system when providing a state basic pension payment is counted:

1) the length of service worked out for the period up to January 1, 1998, calculated in accordance with Article 208 of this Code;

2) the period for which the mandatory pension contributions and (or) the mandatory pension contributions of the employer were made;

3) periods of labor, entrepreneurial activity, and private practice by type of activity, to which, by decision of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a correction factor of 0 was applied to the rates of mandatory pension contributions, mandatory occupational pension contributions;

4) the period of the activity, the income from which was excluded from the income of an individual subject to taxation from April 1, 2020 to October 1, 2020, in accordance with subparagraph 51) Paragraph 1 of Article 341 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Taxes and other mandatory payments to the Budget" (Tax Code);

5) the time of care of a non-working mother or a non-working father (when he takes actual care of young children), but not more than until each child reaches the age of 3 years, within 12 years in total;

6) the time of caring for a child with a disability under the age of 18;

7) periods of military service, service in special state and law enforcement agencies, civil protection agencies, and the state courier service;

8) the period of residence abroad of the spouse of employees of the diplomatic services of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international organizations, but not more than 10 years in total;

9) the period of residence of spouses of military personnel (except for conscripts), employees of special government agencies with their spouses in areas where there was no possibility of their employment in their specialty, but not more than 10 years in total;

10) periods of employment after January 1, 1998 in the Russian organizations of the Baikonur complex;

11) periods of receiving social benefits in case of loss of income due to restrictions on activities for the duration of the state of emergency, restrictive measures;

12) the time of care for a person with a disability of the first group, a single person with a disability of the second group and a pensioner in need of outside help, as well as for an elderly person who has reached the age of eighty;

13) the periods of employment of the persons specified in subparagraph 2) paragraph 3 of Article 248 of this Code. Since January 1, 2005, these periods are counted on the condition that social contributions are made to the Fund.

The State basic pension payment is provided regardless of the receipt of age-related pension payments and (or) from the unified accumulative pension fund and (or) voluntary accumulative pension fund, as well as state social disability benefits.

3. The state basic pension payment is provided at the expense of budgetary funds.
