Article 21. Contacts of pupils with parents and other close relatives of the Law on Family-type Children's Villages and Youth Homes
1. The administration should not prevent pupils from contacting their parents and reuniting with them in the event of their restoration of parental rights, release from prison and in other cases that do not contradict the interests of the child.
2. The administration should also not prevent the pupil from communicating with other close relatives (full and half-siblings, grandfathers, grandmothers), except in cases where such communication does not meet the interests of the child.
3. Contacts of parents and other close relatives with pupils are allowed with the consent of the administration.
4. The return of pupils to their former family is carried out in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 13, 2000 No. 113-II.
This Law defines the legal status of family-type children's villages and youth homes established in order to meet the rights of orphaned children and children left without parental care to live and be raised in a family, as well as to comprehensively ensure their moral, spiritual, labor upbringing and education.
