The footnote. Title of Article 21 as amended by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 03.03.2021 No. 13-VII (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication).

1. For exemplary performance of official duties, high quality of tasks performed, initiative, creative activity, long and impeccable service, performance of tasks of particular importance and complexity, and for other achievements in their work, diplomatic service personnel may be rewarded:

1) early promotion to the diplomatic rank;

2) a one-time monetary reward;

3) departmental awards, which are approved by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the recommendation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;

4) other forms of encouragement provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. For special merits, diplomatic service personnel may be presented with state awards of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. On the occasion of national, state, professional and other holidays, veterans of the diplomatic service may be presented with departmental awards.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 7, 2002, No. 299.

This Law defines the legal basis, as well as the procedure for organizing the activities of the diplomatic service of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
