Article 21. National Censuses of the Law On State Statistics

     1. The need to conduct national censuses is determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the proposal of the authorized body.

     2. National censuses are conducted by the authorized body outside the statistical work plan.

     3. When conducting national censuses, coordination of the activities of central and local executive bodies may be entrusted by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan to both an authorized body and a specially created commission.

     4. The information obtained during the national censuses refers to primary statistical data and should not be used for the purpose of causing property and moral harm to an individual or legal entity, hindering the exercise of their rights and freedoms.

     5. Primary statistical data during national censuses are provided by the respondents without fail and free of charge.

 

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 19, 2010 No. 257-IV.

     This Law regulates public relations arising in the process of state statistical activity, as well as in determining the quality of administrative data, and is aimed at meeting the needs of society, the State and the international community for official statistical information.
