1. In the production of chemical products, standards should be established to ensure safety for the life and health of production personnel and environmental protection in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. Personnel employed at the stages of the life cycle of chemical products must have the necessary qualifications, knowledge of safe operation methods, be provided with the necessary means of control and protection, and have appropriate permits to work with chemical products in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. In order to ensure the safety of personnel employed at all stages of the life cycle of chemical products, the following conditions must be observed::

1) the use of labor protection techniques and methods that eliminate the risk of exposure of dangerous chemical products to human life and health and the environment;

2) provision of necessary personal hygiene products, personal protective equipment;

3) the use of a warning label;

4) familiarization of personnel with the measures of safe handling of chemical products;

5) development of measures to prevent and eliminate emergency situations.

4. Applicants (manufacturers, suppliers, importers) must provide preliminary and periodic medical examinations and staff training on handling dangerous or potentially hazardous chemical products.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 21, 2007 No. 302.

This Law establishes the legal basis for ensuring the safety of chemical products for the protection of human life and health, environmental protection and consumer interests in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
