Article 22-1. Consultations with the Mazhilis of Parliament on candidates for appointment to the positions of members of the Government of the Constitutional Law on the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the status of its deputies
1. Consultations are held with the Mazhilis of Parliament in its relevant specialized standing Committees on candidates submitted to the President of the Republic for appointment to Government positions.
2. During consultations at a meeting of the relevant committee, candidates for positions are presented by the Prime Minister of the Republic or an official authorized by him.
3. Following the consultations, the relevant committee issues an advisory opinion on each candidate under discussion.
