Article 22. Control of the Chamber of Appraisers over the activities of its members The Law on Valuation Activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The Chamber of Appraisers shall monitor compliance by members of the Chamber with the requirements of this Law, other regulatory legal acts, standards and rules of the Chamber of Appraisers, as well as the Code of Business and Professional ethics of appraisers, and the conditions of membership in the Chamber.
2. The basis for conducting an audit by the Chamber of Appraisers is an application received by the Chamber of Appraisers, with the exception of the cases provided for in paragraph 1 of this article.
An appeal, which does not require receiving information from other entities, officials, or on-site verification, is considered within fifteen calendar days from the date of its receipt.
An appeal, which requires receiving information from other entities, officials, or an on-site inspection, is considered and a decision is made on it within thirty calendar days from the date of its receipt.
3. The procedure for organizing, conducting inspections and reviewing appeals against members of the Chamber of Appraisers shall be established by the Chamber of Appraisers.
This Law regulates public relations related to the implementation of valuation activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also defines the legal basis for regulating valuation activities.
