1. Determination of seed qualities to be sold and used for sowing is carried out by sampling seeds and their subsequent analysis in seed quality examination laboratories accredited in accordance with the procedure established by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Accreditation in the field of conformity assessment".

2. Sampling from batches of seeds to be sold is carried out by state seed inspectors of the local executive body of the region, the city of republican significance and the capital with the participation of a representative of the seed producer.

3. Sampling from seed lots intended for sowing only is carried out by seed experts at the request of seed producers and (or) seed producers (their representatives) who have received appropriate training in seed quality testing laboratories.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 8, 2003 No. 385.

This Law defines the legal, economic and organizational bases for carrying out activities in the field of seed production and is aimed at regulating the organization and functioning of the seed production system and state control over the production, harvesting, processing, storage, transportation, sale and use of seeds of agricultural plants.
