Article 22. Renewal of the accreditation certificate of the Law on Accreditation in the field of Conformity Assessment
1. The grounds for the renewal of the accreditation certificate are:
1) reorganization of the accreditation entity;
2) change of location of the subject of accreditation;
3) changing the name of the accreditation entity;
4) the application of the subject of accreditation on the expansion or reduction of the scope of accreditation.
2. The subject of accreditation, within ten calendar days calculated from the date of occurrence of one of the grounds for the reissue of the accreditation certificate provided for in subparagraphs 1) - 3) of paragraph 1 of this Article, as well as in the case of a reduction in the scope of accreditation, submits to the accreditation body an application for the reissue of the accreditation certificate, indicating new information and documents provided for in subparagraphs 3) and 4) of paragraph 1 of Article 15 of this Law.
3. When expanding the scope of accreditation, the subject of accreditation simultaneously submits information to the accreditation body on the availability of relevant specialists, equipment, and premises in the expanded area.
4. When the accreditation certificate is reissued by the accreditation body, an examination is carried out at the location of the accreditation entity in accordance with the procedure provided for in Article 18 of this Law, in the following cases::
1) changes in the location of the testing, verification, calibration laboratory (center);
2) expanding the scope of accreditation.
5. The documents on the renewal of the accreditation certificate are reviewed by the accreditation body within fifteen working days, calculated from the date of their receipt.
The period provided for in this paragraph does not include the period for conducting an examination at the location of the subject and eliminating inconsistencies with the accreditation criteria, if they have been identified by the accreditation body.
6. In case of a positive decision, the accreditation body shall, within seven working days, reissue the accreditation certificate and re-approve the document defining the scope of accreditation.
7. The decision to refuse to reissue the accreditation certificate is made when false information is identified in the submitted documents and information, the subject of accreditation fails to eliminate inconsistencies identified during the survey within the prescribed period, as well as inconsistencies identified during the initial survey are detected during the re-examination.
The notification of the decision is sent to the subject of accreditation in electronic form via the information system of technical regulation or on paper within three working days from the date of the decision by mail or fax and is considered received, respectively, from the date of the applicant's mark in the notification of receipt of the mail or on the day of sending the fax message.
8. The validity period of the accreditation certificate is not interrupted upon renewal.
