Article 22. Shelf life of biological material of akona On fingerprint and genomic registration

      1. The terms of storage of biological material of biological relatives of missing citizens, unidentified persons, as well as unidentified corpses seized during a pre-trial investigation and recognized as material evidence in a criminal case, are determined in accordance with the requirements of Article 118 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

     2. Biological material selected for the genomic registration of convicted persons shall be stored from the date of its selection until genomic information is obtained from it.

     This Law regulates public relations in the field of fingerprint and genomic registration in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
