Article 22. Youth Home of the Law on Family-type Children's Villages and Youth Homes
1. The youth home is a children's village, an orphanage, a boarding school for orphaned children and children left without parental care, a dormitory or apartments.
By decision of local executive bodies, a Youth Home may be established and function as an independent legal entity in the form of a state institution.
2. The activities of the Youth Home are carried out by the administration of a children's village, an orphanage, a boarding school for orphans and children left without parental care, together with the director of the Youth Home in accordance with the model rules on the Youth Home approved by the authorized body in the field of education.
3. The Youth Home, functioning as an independent legal entity, carries out its activities in accordance with the model rules on the Youth Home approved by the authorized body in the field of education.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 13, 2000 No. 113-II.
This Law defines the legal status of family-type children's villages and youth homes established in order to meet the rights of orphaned children and children left without parental care to live and be raised in a family, as well as to comprehensively ensure their moral, spiritual, labor upbringing and education.
