Article 23. Adoption by the Chambers of Parliament of decisions on the submitted candidates of the Constitutional Law on the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the status of its deputies
1. The Mazhilis and the Senate of the Parliament shall adopt decisions on giving consent to appointment, election to office and dismissal from office by a majority vote of the total number of deputies of the relevant Chamber of Parliament.
2. Decisions are taken separately on each candidate by open voting, unless the relevant Chamber determines a different voting procedure.
3. Decisions are drawn up by resolutions of the relevant Chamber separately for each candidate.
4. In case of rejection of candidates submitted by the President for approval of appointment, election to office and dismissal from office, the decision of the relevant Chamber must contain detailed reasons for the rejection.
