Article 24. Industry centers of technological competence The Law on Industrial Policy
Industry centers of technological competence are legal entities designated by government agencies for the purposes of technological development of the relevant industry, having experts with relevant industry and cross-industry competencies.
The main tasks of the industry centers of technological competence are to carry out technological forecasting of the relevant industry, assist in the development and implementation of a targeted technological program, monitor global technological trends, identify current conditions and competitive advantages for accelerated technological development, as well as the needs and interests of private business entities, and promote the dissemination of best practices and experience in innovation among business entities of the relevant industries, implementation of international cooperation aimed at attracting foreign investments to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The industry centers of technological competence also ensure the continuity of the state technological policy and the institutional memory of the technological development of the industry.
This Law establishes the fundamental principles of industrial policy and regulates public relations that arise during the formation and implementation of industrial policy.
