Article 24. Irremovability of judges of the Constitutional Law on the Judicial System and the Status of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan

     1. Judges are elected or appointed in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, this Constitutional Law, and the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and are empowered on a permanent basis.

     2. The powers of judges may be terminated or suspended only on the grounds and in accordance with the procedure provided for by this Constitutional Law and other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
