Article 24. Obligations of the seller (manufacturer, contractor) The Law on Consumer Protection
The seller (manufacturer, contractor) is obliged to:
1) provide information about the product (work, service), as well as about the seller (manufacturer, performer) in Kazakh and Russian languages that comply with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan";
2) ensure the safety of the product (work, service);
3) provide a free choice of goods (work, services);
4) ensure the proper quality of the product (work, service);
5) ensure the exchange or return of goods of both proper and improper quality;
6) compensate in full for the losses (harm) caused to the life, health and (or) property of the consumer as a result of defects in the product (work, service);
7) have cash registers available in accordance with the procedure and cases provided for by the tax legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
8) to post information in Kazakh and Russian at the location of the cash registers that meets the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan" on the need for the consumer to receive a control (commodity) receipt and on his right to contact the state revenue authority (indicating the phone number of the relevant state revenue authority) in the case of violations of the procedure for using cash registers;
9) ensure that an individual directly engaged in the sale of goods (performance of works, provision of services) has a breast card (badge) indicating his last name, first name and patronymic (if any) and his compliance with sanitary rules and hygienic standards;
10) when selling goods (performing work, rendering services), issue a document confirming the fact of the purchase of goods (performing work, rendering services), or a contract concluded upon the purchase of goods (performing work, rendering services);
11) comply with the stated operating mode;
12) comply with other requirements stipulated by this Law and other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The seller (manufacturer) is obliged to indicate the value of the goods, decorated with a price label, displayed in the internal and external storefronts of the shopping facility, in tenge, as well as to ensure the storage conditions of the goods.
The manufacturer (contractor) is obliged to indicate the cost of works and services in tenge in writing.
The manufacturer is obliged to set the expiration date and the shelf life of the product.
Before concluding a purchase and sale agreement, the seller in electronic commerce is obliged to provide the consumer with information about the payment procedure for the goods and their cost.
The seller (manufacturer) is obliged to sell, and the consumer has the right to buy the goods according to the specified value, marked with a price label displayed in the internal and (or) external storefronts of the shopping facility.
It is prohibited for the seller (manufacturer, performer), except in cases stipulated by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to restrict the rights of consumers regarding the use of photography and video.

This Law defines the legal, economic and social foundations of consumer protection, as well as measures to provide consumers with safe and high-quality goods (works, services).
