1. One of the activities of a Single Operator is to provide guarantees for the completion of an apartment building or a complex of individual residential buildings.

A single operator, along with the activities and operations provided for by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Mortgage of Immovable Property", has the right to carry out the following types of activities:

guaranteeing mortgage loans (housing mortgage loans), rental payments, contributions to housing construction savings;

guaranteeing loans for the acquisition of shares in an apartment building or a complex of individual residential buildings;

financing and implementation of investment projects;

property rental (lease) of real estate, including with the right of subsequent purchase;

activities assigned to a Single Operator by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on architectural, urban planning and construction activities, other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the charter.

2. Financing and logistical support for the activities of a Single Operator are carried out at the expense of guarantee contributions and other sources not prohibited by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates public relations related to the activities of equity participation in the housing construction of multi-family residential buildings by attracting money from individuals and (or) legal entities, and also establishes guarantees for the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of the parties to the agreement on equity participation in housing construction.
