Article 247. Unified Distributor Code on the Health of the People and the Healthcare System of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The main subjects of the single distributor's activities are:

1) selection of suppliers;

2) conclusion of contracts for the supply of medicines and medical devices, as well as for the supply and production of plasma blood products, including industrial ones, within the framework of contract fractionation;

3) conclusion of long-term contracts for the supply of medicines and medical products, as well as for the production and supply of plasma blood products, including within the framework of contractual fractionation, as well as services for the production of plasma blood products (contractual fractionation) from the manufacturer, including from a foreign manufacturer;

4) provision of medicines and medical products according to the list determined by the authorized body;

5) purchase of medicines and medical products, plasma blood products, including within the framework of contractual fractionation, storage and transportation services according to the list determined by the authorized body, as well as services for the production of plasma blood products (contractual fractionation) from the manufacturer, including from a foreign manufacturer;

6) purchase of pharmaceutical services;

7) purchase of services for the accounting and sale of medicines and medical devices;

8) organization of the purchase of medical products within the guaranteed volume of free medical care;

9) supply, storage of medicines and medical devices of the mobilization reserve and their release in the order of refreshment and disposal in cases of changes in the nomenclature and disposal or destruction provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on civil protection.

The supply, storage and release of medicines and medical devices of the mobilization reserve in accordance with the procedure provided for in subparagraph 9) of part one of this Article shall be carried out by a single distributor.
