Article 25. Rights of protected persons The Law on State Protection of Persons Participating in Criminal Proceedings
Protected persons have the right to:
1) be aware of the security measures applied to them, their family members, and close relatives;
2) apply to the security authorities for the application or non-application of specific security measures listed in Article 7 of this Law, or their complete abolition.;
3) appeal decisions and actions (inaction) of officials providing security measures to a higher authority, prosecutor's office or court;
4) apply for the application of additional security measures provided for by this Law, or their cancellation.

This Law establishes a system of State measures to protect the life, health, property, legitimate rights, and interests of persons participating in criminal proceedings, their family members, and close relatives, and to ensure their safety in order to prevent unlawful interference in criminal proceedings.
