Article 250. Environmental requirements for the import into and export from the Republic of Kazakhstan of animals of the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The import into the Republic of Kazakhstan and the export and (or) re-export from the Republic of Kazakhstan of animals subject to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora are permitted with a permit issued in accordance with the procedure determined by the authorized state body in the field of protection, reproduction and use of wildlife.

The export and (or) re-export of animals, with the exception of fish resources and other aquatic animals from the Republic of Kazakhstan, is carried out in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The import into the Republic of Kazakhstan and the export and (or) re-export from the Republic of Kazakhstan of fish resources and other aquatic animals subject to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora are permitted under a permit issued in accordance with the procedure determined by the authorized body in the field of fisheries.
