1. The rules of fishing, fishing facilities, the procedure for securing fishery reservoirs and (or) areas for fishing and fishing, the provision of fish resources and other aquatic animals are established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of protection, reproduction and use of wildlife.

2. In the order of general use of the animal world, individuals, in cases provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, are allowed free amateur (sports) fishing in the reserve fund of fisheries reservoirs and (or) plots of up to five kilograms per angler per departure. At the same time, the established rules, regulations, restrictions and prohibitions in the field of protection, reproduction and use of wildlife must be observed.

3. Hydro-reclamation works in wetlands and habitats and distribution areas of fish resources and other aquatic animals are carried out with the permission of authorized state bodies within their competence.
