1. In the interests of protecting the health and safety of the population, preventing diseases of agricultural and other domestic animals, with the exception of fish resources and other aquatic animals, causing harm to the environment, economic and other activities, measures are being taken to regulate the number of certain species of wild animals. These measures should be implemented in ways that ensure the conservation of wildlife habitat and biodiversity and prevent environmental damage to protected species and their natural habitats.

The rules governing the abundance of fish resources and other aquatic animals are approved by the authorized body in the field of fisheries.

2. The rules for regulating the number of animals are approved by the authorized state body in the field of protection, reproduction and use of wildlife.
