Article 255. Environmental requirements in the management of hunting and fishing farms of the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The following environmental requirements apply to hunting and fishing operations:

1) to prevent the deterioration of the ecological state of the animal habitat as a result of their own activities, to apply environmental protection technologies during the implementation of production processes;

2) to carry out primary accounting of the number and use of wild animals, to study their condition and characteristics of hunting grounds, to provide this information to the authorized state body in the field of protection, reproduction and use of wildlife;

3) comply with the established rules, norms, regulations, limits and deadlines for obtaining animals;

4) to protect objects of the animal world, including rare and endangered species of animals, in the assigned territory;

5) to carry out comprehensive measures aimed at breeding, including artificial, wild animals, preserving and improving their habitat;

6) to carry out measures for the protection, reproduction and use of wildlife;

7) carry out comprehensive measures for the prevention and control of diseases, immediately inform the authorized state bodies in the field of protection, reproduction and use of wildlife, veterinary medicine, the authorized body in the field of fisheries and the state body in the field of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population about the detection of animal diseases, the deterioration of their habitat, the threat of destruction and cases of animal deaths;

When conducting commercial lake and (or) cage economic activities in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Aquaculture", it is necessary to comply with the environmental requirements provided for in paragraphs 1), 6) and 7) of the first part of this Article.

8) independently stop using objects of the animal world in cases of deterioration of their condition and habitat conditions, reduction of the ability to reproduce and the threat of destruction of animals, and immediately take measures to eliminate the negative impact on animals and their habitat.
