Article 26. Competence of internal affairs bodies of the Law On Identity Documents

Article 26. Competence of internal affairs bodies of the Law On Identity Documents  

  Internal affairs agencies:

     1) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 30.06.2025 No. 203-VIII (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication).      2) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 30.06.2025 No. 203-VIII (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication).

     2-1) implement, within their competence, the state policy in the field of identity documents;

     2-2) develop and approve regulatory legal acts in the field of identity documents in accordance with the goals and objectives of this Law and the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

     3) exercise other powers provided for by this Law, other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 29, 2013 No. 73-V.

     This Law defines the legal basis of identity documents, establishes requirements for their registration, and regulates activities related to the production, issuance, replacement, delivery, seizure and destruction of identity documents.
