Article 268. Banditry of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan

1 The creation of a stable armed group (gang), as well as the leadership of such a group (gang) –

     are punishable by imprisonment for a term of twelve to twenty years with confiscation of property.

2 Participation in a stable armed group (gang) or in attacks committed by it –

     is punishable by imprisonment for a term of ten to fifteen years with confiscation of property.

3 The acts provided for in the first or second parts of this Article committed by a person using his official position, –

     are punishable by imprisonment for a term of fifteen to twenty years with confiscation of property.
